How to Get Rid of Brain Fog

Here are some Additional Tips for Brain Fog and Focus:

  • Drink lots of water. Water is an essential part of the human body and the brain. We need a lot of water throughout the day, and dehydration can be a factor in losing focus as our mind can't function without enough of it.
  • Exercise. We are also more likely to lose focus if we don't get enough exercise. Exercise releases positive hormones, but it also helps our brains work out and be more in tune with what's going on around us.
  • Be careful not to have too much caffeine in your diet. Caffeine can be in soda, chocolate, and coffee. Though these are alright to have in small doses, a lot of caffeine is wrong for your focus because once you intake a lot of caffeine, a crash will follow soon after, making you want to shut down.
  • Have enough sleep. Speaking of shutting down, make sure you get enough sleep each night! It's amazing how much sleep affects our ability to focus.
  • Eat a Balanced Breakfast. Lastly, along with the foods to reduce the brain fog listed above, breakfast fuels our bodies when we first wake up. Going without breakfast is like going without fuel – it will only make your brain work at a much slower rate than if it had some brain foods.

Once you've addressed all the above, check if you still feel sluggish and unable to concentrate. Then, consider snacking on some of these foods throughout the day.
